7) Claudio Ranieiri

Claudio Ranieri led Leicester City to one of the stunning title win in the entire history of the league. He took them from relegation candidates to League winners in 2016.

His announcement as the Foxes new gaffer raised a lot of doubts among many. He was employed after Leicester City sacked Nigel Pearson despite coaching the Foxes to safety in the previous season.

The Foxes possessed top players who were integral in the run-in. Players like Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez, Wes Morgan, Danny Simpson, Roberth Huth, and some others.

Ranieiri managed his team greatly and he got the reward for his brilliance. The Foxes pipped Spurs and Arsenal to Premier League glory.

 6) Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti did not get to win any European Cup while coaching in England but he won the League and Fa cup double during his stint at Chelsea.

He was named Chelsea Manager in 2009 and he won the league in that season. His side broke so many records during that season.

The Blues scored a total of 103 League goals and finished the season with a +71 goal difference. These were league records before Manchester City’s 2017/18 centurions campaign.

In his second season, he led the Blues to a second placed finish. However, he was sacked by Roman Abramovich, who was the owner of the club then.

5) Jurgen Klopp

Starting the top 5 with a clear choice for the position. He is the greatest manager to only win one league title. He transformed Liverpool from wanderers to League contenders as they ended a 30-year wait for a league title in 2020.

Liverpool have also finished second twice with 90+ point tallies. The club has also achieved success in other competitions. The Reds lifted the UEFA Champions League in 2019 and finished as runners-up in 2018 and 2022. He also led the club to an Fa Cup title, 2 League cups, 1 FIFA Club world cup, 1 UEFA Super cup, and a Community Shield title. A wonderful job done by the now-retired coach.

4) Jose Mourinho

Before the Invasion of Pep Guardiola in England, Jose Mourinho was the only coach other than Sir Alex Fegurson to win 2 consecutive Premier League titles.

3) Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger won 3 league titles with Arsenal with the most recent coming in 2004. Of course, he was called ”a specialist in failure” by Jose Mourinho during their rivalry at the time.

His Gunners were known for their wonderful style of play and the gunners finished in the top 2 between 1997/98 – 2004/05.

He was the manger that created one of the greatest teams in the history of the league, the Invincibles.

He has also won more Fa Cups than any other coach in history, winning it 7 times. The Gunners did not quite conquer Europe but they reached the final in 2006. They lost to Barcelona.

If not the Span of the manager in number 1, Pep Guardiola would be the one. He changed the way of football, influencing upcoming young coaches across the world.

His arrival was doubted by critics, pundits, and even fans. The idea of him dominating England as he had done in other leagues was not common.

Well, he made a fool if that idea, winning 6 league titles in eight campaigns. He also won a Champions League, 2 Fa Cups, 4 League Cups, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 1 Club World Cup too.

1) Sir Alex Fegurson

Judging by Span of his success at one club, no one will ever be like Sir Alex Fegurson.

He won 49 trophies during his entire career as  Manager. 13 of the trophies were Premier League titles. He also won 2 Champions Leagues, 5 Fa Cups, and 4 League Cups.

He was named the best coach in the world twice (1999 and 2008).

He won the Premier League more times than he failed to for more than 20 years. Manchester United have fallen down the pecking order ever since he retired in 2013. This shows how integral he was to the club’s success during his tenure there.
